I will start by saying was skeptical because I couldn't find much for reviews outside of Amazon. But I couldn't resist the sale that was on and the performance per dollar. I needed to replace another large room unit because the manufacturer stopped making them and the filters were hard to come by. That one convinced us that these things work, especially for wildfire smoke and other household odours. We wanted to replace it with something that addressed what we didn't like about it. Auto didn't do anything so I had to put it on speed 2 24/7 which had a moderate noise. On the JF888, Auto works flawlessly with the unit running silent most of the time and then ramping up when we cook certain dinners. It clears the air quickly and returns to silent. Even on higher speeds we don 't find it noisy. We also appreciate not being in the dark on the air quality. The real time readout of the 2.5pm count is very helpful. As for the app, install and set up was easy and it's been reliable with no ads or anything so far.

This is an excellent air purifier for the price. It's nice looking, light and easy to move (on wheels), very straight forward to operate and works better than some well recognized brands that sell for double or even triple this price. I really like how I can see the particle count real time and watch it do it's job. I can hardly tell it's on when on auto mode and only noticeable when it kicks on high when a door is opened or I come in from outdoors with dusty clothes on. It moves a lot of a air for the size of the unit due to the 2 large fans. I may buy another one for my basement down the road if the price stays reasonable. I would highly recommend this purifier to anyone looking to improve the air quality in their home.

We purchased the JF888 to clean and purify the air in our house since it is closed up all winter. The unit itself is large but attractive. The display contains helpful information on the air quality and mode settings. It is bright and easy to read, but thankfully the manufacturer included a night setting that turns off the display. The JF888 is very quiet in auto mode, and we can barely hear it in our bedroom at night.I tested the unit by setting it to auto mode, then lighting a candle nearby and blowing it out after a few seconds. The smoke rising from the wick immediately spiked particulate matter display from 3 to over 400, and the LED turned red. The auto mode set the fan speed to high as it cleared the smoke. Over the next 10-15 minutes, the display dropped down to 30 or so as the JF888 purified the air. The fan speed slowed as the purifier did its job, finally settling back in the range of 3-5 with no more smoke smell.Overall I am impressed with the quality of the JF888 and the job it does clearing smoke and other particles from our indoor air!

I purchased two Jafanda JF888 air purifiers recently. The first thing I noticed when received was that they were well packaged to prevent damage in transit. The inner wrapping is strong enough to allow for lifting the unit straight up out of the box. These units have dual motors and twice the filter area of most other air purifiers, so they are silent in auto mode and should do a better/faster job of cleaning the air than other brand-named models that I have owned. I was also looking for a unit that has a high clean air delivery rate (CADR). This one has it, especially for formaldehyde reduction. (which is likely found throughout the entire home) The Wi-Fi hook-up was simple and with that you have more control functions through your smart phone. Most other brands use an infrared sensor to detect particles in the air, but this unit uses a high-accuracy laser sensor which I find to be somewhat more sensitive to and effective at eliminating cooking odors, aerosols, sprays, etc. With five speeds, once the bad air is detected the unit "sees" red/turns red and kicks into high gear, so the clean air is on the way. I was especially looking for an air purifier that would reduce the amount of dust in my home. With more air being moved and greater filter coverage area this one is doing the job for me. Filter replacement costs are in line with other similar brands. Oh, did I mention that the units have wheels so that they can be rolled around in the room or from room to room? Since I have only had these air purifiers for about a month I can't comment on longevity or customer service but so far so good. I do highly recommend them though. They seem to be a good quality, well-built product. Stay tuned for a possible follow up down the road.

This air purifier can ACTUALLY clean a bedroom's air unlike the typical garbage from honeywell. It can operate silently at speed 1, 2 is very quiet still, 3,4,5 are louder. Even 4 is quieter than a honeywell unit on max. It sucks in air front and back and shoots out the clean air on either side, so it can't really be up against a wall. The wifi functions work perfectly. The build quality is excellent. The wheels make moving it effortless and the handles make picking up and carrying this unit actually easier than much smaller honeywell junk.My only gripe is the LEDs, NO ONE WANTS BRIGHT WHITE LEDs FOR THEIR BEDROOM. For god sakes make them red or whatever, you can still see that in the daytime but it doesn't light up the entire bedroom at night. Yeah you can turn off the LEDs, ONLY with the app and ONLY while the unit is running for some reason. If it is off, but plugged in, there will be annoying LEDs that shine way too bright. I had to buy red transparent tape and cover all the annoying lights so I can use it in my bedroom.This is otherwise an excellent air purifier that puts the common brands to shame. Larger fans means quieter fans and that's what this unit has. Even the replacement filters are a better value than honeywell. Oh and I wish that this seller sold the black units but they only sell white ones for some reason??
