The pads I received were 1.5 inches short on both dimensions.

This has saved me a big headache it actually holds the pee, it was a perfect size for my dog's playroom

Our new puppy seems like he knows he needs to pee outside, but he just can't hold it very long so he often leaves a puddle by the door before we can get there to open it for him. Having one of these by the door is so nice. The pad absorbs all the pee and none leaks through to the floor. Then we just take the mat outside, hose it off, and hang it up to dry. After a few cycles of this, it goes in the wash to remove any lingering smells. They've held up well in the wash so far, so they seem to be well made. Also, the size is just right. Any smaller and the dog would have more chance to miss the pad. Any larger and they'd be difficult to wash.I imagine you could use these for other purposes too, like a bed liner, if you're in a pinch. Just position it under the spot where you're anticipating the wetness, and throw the sheets over it.

I purchased the 72x72. Great fit for where I wanted it. Love the paws and bones on it. I got the light gray color. Only thing I don't like is I can't tell where my dog peed. It does not show. I only find it when I walk on it...LOL!!
