These Inaya Door Lever Locks come with good instructions with good images. They are made of a thick plastic.I do like that the lever goes over both the top and the bottom of the door handle as our doors open both up and down.Before installing, I used tape to be able to adjust the locks and test them. I am happy I did as it was very difficult for me to get the levers to move. There is a button on each lever that you have to pull in order to move the lever. They are hard for me to pull and move, especially the lower lever due to its position beneath the door knob.I do like that you can move the levers separately. Our grandchild can pull the door knob down but isn’t tall enough, yet, to pull it up to open the door. So I can leave the top lever open and not have to move a lever every time I want to open the door.The other reason I like this is that I can use the locks on a bedroom door and leave the top lever open. There is less risk of someone getting locked in a room as they can just lift the door knob up to get out of the room.

I needed 2 packs, might half to order more.My 3yr old snatched the first one right off the door but the 2nd one is holding on for dear life.Great for toddlers that like to open doors especially the front door when you’re sleeping.

Our house has lever style handles, which isn't ideal when you have small kids that you need to keep out of certain rooms. Most childproofing door items are for knobs. I've tried a few styles for levers, but they either don't hold up or limit the use of the lever to one direction instead of making it inoperable. I like that this one holds the lever in place and can unlock in either direction and just one side, if desired. I do wish that it came with extra adhesive pads like some that I've used, but are fairly priced for single use. If I need more, these will be the ones I order.

I tried others like this that were single bars, but only good if the child can't figure out you can open the door just by lifting the lever up (not likely) THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS MODEL ACTUALLY WORK!! The child can't lift UP or DOWN. Great product! THANK YOU!
