I installed this heater in my 75-gallon saltwater sump, and so far, it’s been working well. The plastic cover over the heating rods adds an extra layer of protection, though it does make the unit a bit bulky. Despite that, it fits in my setup without any major issues.One feature I really appreciate is the built-in alarm. If the water level drops too low, the heater automatically shuts off to prevent damage, which is a great safeguard against overheating or burning out. The external controller is also convenient, making temperature adjustments easy without having to reach into the sump.The temperature seems to stay stable, though I recommend using a separate thermometer to verify accuracy. Temperature is off by 2 degrees, so not 100% accurate. Overall, it’s a solid heater with good safety features, making it a reliable choice for larger tanks or sumps.

Excellent. Keeps my temperature stable with +-0.5 deg Fahrenheit. Would buy again.
