The small box files are not as strong as the traditional wooden ones. But they are thinner which means you do not waste space on your bookshelf with a load of half empty "full size" box files.Another good feature is that these files arrive flat packed, so you only need to build the number you need and the rest stay flat also saving space.Not too much more to say, space saving design strong enouch for the job not not as strong a wooden box file.

These boxes are a perfect solution for storing our various product manuals in boxes on a bookshelf, with the manuals in separate boxes according to the product's location in the house (basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor, outside/garage). This makes it much easier to find a specific manual without having to examine every manual.I like that these boxes are enclosed (rather than open in the back like a slash-style magazine box) so the manuals won't collect dust. Most other storage boxes are wider than I wanted, so it was nice to find the 1.5-inch (40 mm) as an available box width.The boxes are made of flexible plastic and arrive packaged flat. They have a strong chemical smell at first, but it dissipates. You fold them into their box shape, and the front cover closes with a velcro button. The assembly was straightforward, but instructions are not provided, so if necessary consult the assembly diagram on the product page. I like that there is a label pocket on both the box's spine and front cover.

Does away with bulky files, easy to assemble, easy to store, easily identifiable content when labeled correctly
