Roto-hammering a hole for 3/4” pvc conduit through a slab. My roto-hammer drilled mostly under its own weight with just a tiny bit of downward force from me, and I just watched it drop down like 1/8” a second. I stopped to clear the dust every couple inches, but this thing cut concrete like it was butter. It’s in the short side, but it’s a good cutter for the price.

First, this is not your household drill bit, it requires a SDS Hammer drill and with the 1 inch bit size, it needs to be something made for handling larger jobs. I used a Bosch SDS drill, but the minimum is .7 inch bit capability. It will NOT fit in a standard ⅜ or even ½ inch hammer drill.I was rather surprised that after going through brick and concrete, the bit still looks like new after the dust is cleared. It does a great job and for the price is much cheaper than the big name brands.

This drill bit is tough. It looks like all the other mason bits I have, with a full tungsten carbide cross at the top. It's heavy and seems extremely durable. It did not fit my standard drill I have with hammer functionality, but rather is designed for larger chuck concrete drills, which it fit perfectly. I installed it and wow, this cuts a 1" hole perfectly. Stays sharp, made of good quality materials. I am very happy with this product!

The variety of sizes and heads give me a wide range of areas to use them in. Each drill bit is sturdy and powerful. Their designs allows for maximum performance from the smallest to the grandest projects. They come packaged together but in a tight secure container that keeps them from chopping or dulling. The thickness as well as the durability it provides is assurance they will last me long time.

It made a hole through some concrete block, and it didn't break. Felt good in the tool, went right to work and got the job done.
