It's a soft style neck guard meant for just basic protection. It won't save you from a slapshot to the neck but it will protect you from a skate blade or stick. Easy to put on and feels comfortable with the plush liner on it. Nice to have on especially if you have youths that play ice hockey. God forbid, but better safe than sorry.

It fits good, easy to adjust and gives more protection than the average neck protector.

This is a geed quality neck protector but it may be too large for shorter necks causing irritation. It appears that it should do a geed job of protecting your neck.

got this for my 12 year old nephew and it fits great and is comfortable for him.

With the new rule in place requiring every player to wear a neck guard, I ordered one from Hikeen for my 17-year-old. I got him the Youth/Adult size and it fits well. He doesn't like wearing it, but that's mainly because he isn't used to wearing one.It was reasonably priced, and hopefully we'll never have to test out its cut-resistance.
