I was plagued for months by a toilet seat that continued to slide around no matter how many times I tightened the PLASTIC bolts underneath that came with it. Finally I ran across a company online that offered 2 METAL BOLTS, along with HIGH QUALITY RUBBER AND METAL TEETH WASHERS AND 2 METAL SLEEVES that screwed on over the bolts. These sleeves allow you to tighten the bolts without stripping them, and they are as long as the bolts they cover, making it less cumbersome trying to scrunch down trying to get way up under the seat— so much easier to tighten the covered bolt with a simple pair of pliers. GREAT SOLUTION TO PREVENT LOOSE SEATS!!! Plastic bolts are nonsense for this application. My thanks to this company!

I don’t really ever leaves reviews on Amazon, But this product is great, It secures the toilet seat much better then the junky plastic hardware. Easy to install

I've had it with the flimsy plastic toilet seat hardware that not only doesn't work, but doesn't last. It's a cheap way out for the companies to make an extra buck or two. This Hibbent toilet seat kit is just what I needed. Great quality, easy to install and works like a charm. The only issue I had was that my toilet seat hinges have a hard plastic insert with an oblong opening. The Hibbent bolts are larger than the ones that came with the seat, so they didn't quite fit. The answer was to use a round file to enlarge the oblong opening, thus creating enough room for the new bolts to go through. After that it was a piece of cake. They tighten up and hold the seat rock solid. The frosting on the cake is that should it become a necessity to change toilet seats, these bolts can be removed and used on the new seat (which will most likely come with plastic hardware). It's a win/win!

Have 3 toilets with bidets. The plastic parts to hold the toilet seats never held correctly. One sitting and you're sideways. No matter how many times the plastic junk was tightened, it didn't hold. Typical replacement parts are not long enough to accommodate the extra bidet parts. However, these bolts worked wonderfully. Easy to install - took less than 10 minutes (it DID take about a half hour to get the stripped plastic bolts off tho). Did I mention I'm an over 65 woman?? Held tightly, Didn't need to worry about gripping the bottom part with the wrench and stripping the screw in part due to the smart design. Included installation pictures accurately described how to install. Bolts were long enough to go thru both the toilet seat and bidet parts. And, not that you really see them, the parts you do see look sleek and clean. Very happy with this purchase and will be replacing the plastic junk in the other two bathrooms with this very sturdy, well worth the price, product. And no, I'm not getting a discount for writing this, didn't get them on sale or for free. This my honest opinion. I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, some of it's junk, but this was a reasonably priced fix that solved an aggravating problem.
