These are a great value. Nice build and gets excellent penetration with my 60 pound pistol crossbow. Went straight through my archery target and hit the backstop. Gonna order another 6 soon…

**Updated**What you should know is that these are still some of the better aluminum pistol crossbow BH arrows on Amazon. I have tested out a handful of brands and the numbers bear that out. These are a little different than the others. I'd seen these before and thought they were the same as others since the price isn't all that different. I have tested 3 or 4 different types of aluminum arrows against archery targets in various ways. The smooth, glossy anodized aluminum finish is second to none (at least for black). Accuracy is on par with everything else I've tested, if not better. This only applies to the ones with the vanes aligned properly with the tip, but more on that later. The BH arrows are not always as accurate as the field points, but it depends. Pistol crossbow arrows are not quite pinpoint accurate, but they get very close under 10 yards. Actually, even out to 15 they are not too shabby with the right setup. The first thing of note is that these are razor sharp as are others in this category. The vanes are thicker than others, and notably stiffer. I measured a 0.8mm TPU vane thickness vs. 0.6mm for the standard ones. The arrow shaft thickness (outer diameter) measures 6.3mm vs. ~6.1mm measured on the standard ones. I think that tiny, and seemingly trivial, difference in material may help stiffness. I was amazed when I sent 3 BH arrows into a cardboard target over 50 feet away. Traveling off of the string between 190-194 fps, it caused the 2 other arrows (which were also similarly priced PMSM BH tips) I used as a control to bend slightly rendering them useless!! I kept the bent shafts so I've got the facts straight for this update (this time. Sorry for the mix up! I had confused the control arrows with the ones I got from a different manufacturer, but they were PMSM). Amazingly, the cardboard target was not able to bend this arrow brand upon impact!! I foolishly thought the cardboard would be soft enough for the test, at least at that distance, and I didn't want them to go too far in a target that the vanes would get damaged. That miscalculation cost me about $5+ in less than 10 seconds. After shaking off my disappointment from ruining 2 initially good arrows, I was able to appreciate what happened with this brand of arrow. I also missed my target and fired an arrow directly into the wooden backstop. The the shaft was intact after that! All the arrows weigh about 150 grains, with a small deviation (+/- 2 grains). That falls somewhere around 9.7 grams. The last important detail is that any of these arrows should have vanes are perfectly aligned with the BH tip. I've noticed these are all almost perfect, but I found 2 that were slightly off. It wasn't bad enough to cause a misfire, but they landed in a different spot than the others in flight. That alignment is very important for stable, consistent flight and accuracy. If you have a pistol crossbow with one of those magazines, a BH tip that doesn't line up with the 2 arrow vanes causes misfeeds/misfires. That can be very unsafe. Fixing it yourself is tricky, but it can be done. The 12 pack costs about $5-6 more than some of the average competition, but that is about 50 cents per arrow. You can decide if it is worth it to you. These are just slightly better than others in this space. 4 stars for the canted tips. I was skeptical because you assume most of these are being made by the same factory in Asia, but these shiny black ones are a little different so I give them that. I can't comment on the copper/bronze colored arrows by this same manufacturer, but you won't find too many better sets of aluminum broadhead arrows than these. The best part is the smooth anodized aluminum finish. You can consider the carbon fiber BH arrows the next step up, but these are slightly less expensive. Also, I've tried another brand of gold arrow that are cheaper and better, but these are up there.

These work well in my mini crossbow. The blades are wicked sharp on the front edge and penetrate well. The back of the blades is not sharp so pulling the arrows out is a bit of a challenge. The heads and blades are attached well though so they don't come off when you pull. It's just really usually stuck. This is a kit of bolts and does not include extra blades. The plastic case is decent and holds the sharp bolts well enough that it can be used long term.
