This is a GREAT electric, heated lunch box. The only negative is that it really needs a dial of some sort to adjust the heat level. I realize that may be asking for more intelligence than can be easily built into a mere lunch box, but it's needed. Even if it costs more, that's ok. This goes from zero to what must be 550 degrees F. And it cooks so fast that the outside of your food can burn while the inside is still cool. Sometimes I can get it perfect. Just the right food. Just the right timing. Just the right packaging around the food. Etc. Overall, like I said, this is a great idea and very well executed. Just need temperature adjustment and it'll be 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars all day!

I did a quick test upon receipt by placing some water in the food container and running for a few minutes using a wall outlet. It was definitely hot, so it can heat. TBD if it will hold heat well or if the food will be burned; will be wise to ensure the food has plenty of water or add a little if you plan to keep your food on heat for an extended time. The plastic of the main unit and the snap lid are ok quality plastic. The snaps on the lid are very difficult to close, but they are secure if you can get them closed. The cords are housed in a handy container that fits in one of the food containers for storage. The included bag is very poor quality, but it will work to hold everything for storage and to carry the box with food and the appropriate cord. The two other lids appear to be to cover food while it's in the fridge? They are very cheap plastic, but since they have limited purpose, it's not a huge problem. The instructions are poorly translated English with many typos and very little useful info, but the set-up isn't complicated if you ignore the extra lids.

This is a great hot lunch option. The lunch box heats up quickly and gets food to very hot temperatures - hot enough that you have to blow on the food to avoid burning your tongue. The keep warm function is nice and I love that it comes with two containers. I had a pot of homemade soup left over from dinner last night so I portioned it into the two included lunch box containers. The divided container ended up being the perfect size for soup and I put a couple of rolls on the other side to warm them. Both were excellent at lunch time. I put the larger container filled with soup into the fridge to have another day this week. To heat up my lunch I plugged the lunch box in when I left the house this morning. I have an hour commute and by the time I arrived at the office the soup was very hot. I put it in the keep warm mode and kept it plugged in the a mobile power source (since my car outlets only work when the key is on). By lunch time the soup was still very warm and ready to eat.The metal boxes into which the food is placed are easy to wash and the plastic lids for refrigeration fit with almost a vacuum seal. I am not entirely sure what function the pressure relief valve in the plastic lid is supposed to serve. It has a dial and I think some numbers around the dial, but nothing in the manual about the purpose of the valve. I also do not really understand the purpose of the plastic cup that fits into the divided container. The instructions list the plastic container as a food cup or some such reference, but no explanation of its purpose. I doubt that I will use the plastic container. The outer shell or cover for the lunch box is great to keep the lunch box from getting too hot to touch and it helped keep the lunch box from sliding around in my car. I assume it has some insulation value also, but since I kept my box plugged in before lunch I’m not sure how long food would stay warm with just the case preserving the heat. The provided silverware is very hokie and I’m pretty sure it will be lost very quickly. This is an excellent way to have a home cooked hot meal for lunch every day, which will save me a ton of money.

Positives:Heats up very quickly on 110v or 12 v.The stainless steel containers are very nice an easy to clean. The lids fit very securely. The insulated carry bag helps keep food warm during travel If you cant connect ti 12v or 110.Negatives:No thermo control. Its on or off.110v has a timer, 12V is either plugged in or not.Small container size limits the use to single person.

I think everyone needs one of these. This heated lunch box is great for on the go or that cold day. This is leak proof which is nice and holds so much food. Quality is great and takes no time at all to heat up. functionality is amazing and what a great value.
