So, what I really liked this clock due to the auto time set if you lose power, large display and the wireless charging abilities. The downside of this clock is the display is way to bright even on dim and is a blue light. I was always turning the alarm away from the bed. The speaker was a joke, it's only 4watts and mono not stereo, my phone sounds better than this clock. The other downside to this clock is even though it's set via satellite, the time seemed to always be off (slower) a couple of mins compared to the phones and the computers in the house. After using this for 3 years, 11 months and 1 day, the clock just stopped working overnight. The display does not work but the alarm goes off and the radio works. It also stopped wirelessly charging the phone as well. Considering the cost of about $1 a month for an alarm clock, I will buy a charger for my phone and use it.

This is way nicer than I expected. I’ve not had an Emerson anything for years. It solidly built and will go with any decor. Its ease of use and setup are amazing. The sound quality is exceptional. The radio is crystal clear. I can wirelessly charge my phone without removing the case. I’m loving the auto dimming features of the large clock numbers. The price was a little more than many but it is a good value. It’s light years ahead of the crowd. I’m probably going to purchase one more.

I was looking for a quick charger for my 22 Ultra that worked with my case on it. This one works perfectly and it has a charging cord for my headphones too.I wasn't going to get this just because the top is WHITE...nothing on my nightstand is white (except for bills)...but I now realize why it is white...because when my phone is charging on top I can't see the white. And if I do see the white then where in the heck is my phone???Sound is ok, I usually put it real low so as not to bother my wife. Range of BLUETOOTH is too good, my phone finds it as I roll into the driveway and starts sending it the music...not great if the wife WAS sleeping. HEHEHEHEOnly negative is the lighting can be real low in automatic mode, I have to concentrate to make out the numbers in the dark...but the lack of brightness doesn't keep me awake.

I like that it charges my iPhone 12 mini right through its thick silicon case. The sound is good enough for a clock radio but doesn’t have any bass to speak of. My old iHome sounded much better/fuller. The USB on the back has come in very handy for charging or powering many other devices. The LED light on the bottom is a convenient way to transition to bedtime while I’m still relaxing or laying things out for the next day. The Bluetooth does have an audible and somewhat loud jingle tone when connecting so one may wish to connect earlier in the evening if you use a nature sound app and have someone crashing earlier than you do. When your phone is in the charging pad, you can push on the top of your phone to adjust volume or advance/rewind the track selection. Nice design there. One negative thing is that while wirelessly charging your phone, a light blinks on the front display at full brightness no matter what dimmer setting is selected (and the auto dimmer is quite nice, by the way). Kind of a bone-headed design. I solved this by putting a small sticker over that light on the display. It’s still obvious when you place your phone on the charger pad because your phone lights up and shows it’s charging.

This is a really good alarm clock with a bunch of features.The good: the footprint, the display, the auto-dim feature, wireless phone charging, USB charging port, dual alarms, time auto-set feature, auto DST, tone or radio alarm.The things that are minor annoyances for me: The lowest auto-dim setting, and the lowest brightness setting, are VERY dim and hard to read even in a dark room. The wireless charging is still a little finicky to get your phone aligned with even with a thin case (and I have the new model), but works well once engaged. The manual dim settings seem to go from VERY bright, to still bright, to VERY dim...should be a step between. The wireless charging indicator on the front does not follow the auto-dim brightness, and blinks while charging, flashing in a dark room.Overall I would still recommend this clock.
