These are a little pricey for dog chews, but better value in bulk. I use these when the dogs are crated and they LOVE them. Keeps them entertained and chewing for hours. Each chew lasts about 2 weeks with daily use; the dogs I give them to are about 35-55lbs and this is an appropriate sized chew treat.

They have always loved to chew so we had many different bones and chews. One day one of them fell sick and had to have surgery bc she had eaten little pieces of a nyla bone that was not digestible, despite the surgery we lost her a few days later while she was recovering from it, she simply collapsed. Since then we have not trusted any bones or chews, until we found these. The dogs love them! They are digestible and the longest lasting chew we have ever found! Lasts days! They are very heavy chewers where most chews are gone in 20-30 minutes these will last for many days even weeks! 100% recommended!

I compared this with another yak brand and although this was more cost effective, my small lab mix had the easiest time cracking them with her teeth. Didn’t take more than five minutes for her to go through one large yak stick! I need to keep her jaws busy so she doesn’t eat my walls 😭

We've been buying these for our Irish setter/Golden Retriever mix for about a year. She has loved them and was always working on one. But make sure you take the Safety warning seriously. As our dog grew up and became stronger, she started biting off bigger chunks and swallowing them. We didn't think much about it because they were digestible and she was used to it. But about 10 days ago she started throwing up all her food every day, and long story short, we just brought her home from a major (and expensive) operation to remove chunks of the yak sticks from her stomach and intestine. Obviously we feel guilty and very worried for her, and wished we had kept the warnings more in mind. Like all busy people it was just too easy for us to let her entertain herself by going after these yak sticks. To be clear, I think this is a good product, especially for teething dogs, but for larger stronger dogs who can bite off chunks I'm less sure. I think we'll just have to stop using them entirely to be safe.

When we received the bag, it was torn along the top of the heat sealed tear-off part and the lower zip seal was open as well, meaning the inside contents were completely exposed. This was my first concern but upon inspection everything *seemed* to be okay. However - and I don’t know if this is because of the bag being open or if it was just a bad batch - these sticks seem to be much more brittle than the ones we’ve had before.Comet is weird and likes to drop his bones and chews off the side of the bed or the back of the couch. When he did this with the previous ones they could still last until he had actually chewed them down to an unsafe size, which could be up to two weeks. With these ones, all it takes is one or two drops for them to break into pieces and then we have to microwave them into cheese puffs - which we all know don’t last nearly as long. I think they dried out because the bag was open.My next concern is the fact that upon even closer inspection some of the sticks just seem… off. Some are much darker/lighter in color, or have weird spots throughout (not mold). I know to expect some variations but Comet even rejected a few of these different ones. There is one in particular that was noticeably paler in color than the rest, and oh MAN do I regret giving that one to Comet.The color was the only difference in this one. He took it and chewed it just fine like all the others, and then dropped it off the sofa and broke it like all the others. I took one piece and nuked for 60 seconds. Biggest mistake of my life, possibly.The smell coming from that piece of microwaved cheese was the WORST smell I have ever experienced. It filled the entire common area of my house and had everyone in the vicinity gagging from how awful it was.I have an extremely strong stomach and there isn’t much that can make me gag, but that smell had me absolutely RETCHING. It actually made my fiancé vomit. I immediately grabbed that piece and the others like it and took them all the way out to the outdoor garbage bins. The smell lasted until the next morning, despite multiple uses of air freshener and deodorizer.Like I said, we’ve purchased these before and loved them so much that we decided to invest in the large bag. I’ll keep giving them to him as long as he’ll accept them because it would be a waste of $80 if I didn’t, but I’m really disappointed in this particular bag. I’ll just be staying away from the really pale ones.
