Magnet really strong - holds tight even when tearing off a sheet. Capacity as big as could wish. Holds a "triple size" roll with ease.

I was concerned with reviews that said these were garbage and did not hold tight when using one handed. Make sure you install the screws the right way, and this works perfectly and can withstand one handed pulling of paper towel. I accidentally installed the screws incorrectly and it did not work at all. Once I figured out my rookie mistake, this magnetic mount works amazing.

I bought this towel holder for holding blue Scott towels at work, attached to a metal file cabinet.Like some of the other users I found the screws a little challenging. They are short screws with a countersunk heads. The threads in the magnet are filled with black paint that causes the screws to try & go sideways. I had to hold the magnet & bracket in my left hand & screw them in with my screwdriver & trust they would go straight. It took a little hand strength but the went in ok. Maybe the tightness caused by the paint keeps the screws from coming out.The magnet attached well to the cabinet, it seemed very strong. The only issue I had was once, when I reached across the roll & yanked a sheet off with my left hand, the magnet came loose. I figured I just can't do that, it's a magnet.Also, the rod is long enough for the roll.Overall, I think It's a really good deal, especially for the price.
