I gotta say im impressed with the visual quality of this and the audio quality. I used it to replace bad audio on an arcade and it it works and sounds great. But visually what a nice looking board. I wish i didnt have to cover it up. Gold trim everything.

The quality of the solder mask is impressive. Music sounds decent, but of course two 5W speakers is not going to turn any heads. My application is just for a raspberry pi smart Google assistant. For spoken words, the speakers and amp sound terrific.

I'm using this with a Raspberry Pi 4. It worked perfectly, and really amplified the input signal, as long as the input was strong enough. There are extra features I didn't realize it had, like switching amplifier type. I didn't use these, but I appreciate it an option.

So I am basically using the 3.5mm audio jack for input but I wired directly to a PCM5102 also purchased from here. https://amzn.to/49uvKUONow, I have to say it is working great as long as I do not touch the volume control. It is not totally bad but you can get quite a bit of hum at high volume by just touching the volume. It may get better once I put in a case it is open air right now so the 60 Hz is easy to pickup on low side audio. However, there is a thing that makes this worse. The RCA jacks, they appear to be wired backward. That is the gold outside part of the jack is actually connected to the Left and Right + inputs! OOPS, that is not good that is supposed to be the grounded part of the RCA with the tab on the inside of the hole the Pos Line in so this makes it like an antenna for 60 Hz and if I touch the RCA gold outside surface the 60 Hz is terrible! So, I am going to remove them from my board to help raise the noise resistance. I will not be using them anyway. They did something strange with the diff input on these RCA jacks. It probably works but with the outside flipped like it is I would not use the RCA use an adapter and use the 3.5mm jack. I have not found a schematic to prove this case however my multi-meter tells me the Left Positive Line on the 3.5 jack is connected to the Outside of the Left RCA plug and the same holds true on the Right side. Again, I am removing them so it is not a big deal to me. Just FYI in your use of this amplifier. Double check the RCA jacks before using them!!!

It sounds really nice and hides the frequency generated from the supplied power really will! the output of the speaker is independent of the power source which means that neither audio source nor power source need to be grounded with the same wire. would definitely recommend it!
