So Carhartt makes the same kind of product as this but not as good dickies has the market cornered I work in construction so sometimes I wear the same pants for three days change my underwear have a shower wear the same pants so I don’t care what you think it’s what most construction guys do dickies is definitely a leader in the industry

The velcro is so small and weak, easy to open which I do not like at all.I have another different style of Dickies cargos and the velcro is bigger and tighterYou think with all the fancy features on this pants that this would have been included

Review after 8 months of using it:Initially i find it quite hot, sturdy and heavy when wearing it as the material is still new. However overtime, the the material have soften and starts to be comfortable to use. Only down side is it has torn at the groin area despite just using it for normal daily usage (climbing up ladders, sitting on rough floor). Am quite disappointed as it states that this Duratech is advertise to be a better and more lasting than the normal dickies cargo pants.

Update: consider buying a size longer in length. Washed only once in cold water, dried on low, and it looks like I’m ready for a flood. Still good pants, though.The 5 pocket variation of these pants have essentially replaced all my pants/jeans for regular wear, so it was only natural for me to try these pants out when it was time to replace my work pants. Right of the bat, the fit is similar with the 5 pocket which I love (not slim, but also not baggy), and the addition of the double knee, cellphone (fits an iPhone 12 Pro with room for something wider) and cargo pockets are perfect for work and the pants move with you, not against you. I’m a commercial electrician by trade and in California, so I don’t really need pants so tough/stiff that they can stand up on their own. I can’t speak for how they will hold up for heavier duty applications, but they are the perfect work pant for me and I’ll be buying more.
