Assembly took a little bit of time but a good value for the cabinet. Very happy with the file cabinet

This product is made of particle board with an artificial (meaning not made of wood) veneer surface which has an attractive wood grain like texture to it. I’ve assembled quite a few of this type of “assemble your self” furniture I find that with nearly all of them predrilled holes don’t line up well creating either some necessary modification or a sloppy finished product. With this product by Devaise every assembly point or predrilled holes were a great fit. After assembly was finished I was very pleased to see that there was only one slight drawer alignment adjustment I had to make and that’s only because I’m so darn fussy! Every drawer fit without rubbing or being misaligned. I was and am impressed. Instructions are largely pictoral and paying attention to the tips which are really helpful is worth it. They show right and wrong ways for various points so many potential errors are easily avoided.Good work Devaise!

Don't waste your money. Go buy a metal fileCabinet. It will be better quality than this cheaply made wooden one. Prepare to be busy putting it together for awhile. Instructions are not the best. If you are looking for a security file cabinet, this is not it. Although the drawers lock, it's made of press board and cardboard. All a thief would have to do it tip it over or kick it one good time and the entire cabinet would break apart.

I really like this file cabinet. I wouldrecommend U construct the 4 drawerfirst. That way U understand how to construct the unit. The instructions are Very good. The drawers move in andout like Silk, very smooth. The lockingdrawers go only in slot 2 and 4, because of the locking mechanism.I can’t over state how good this unitlooks and performs. I would give it10 stars if I could!
