Works great for throwing my phone, empty casing or any other small items into it while hunting with my tripod mounted gun.

I use this for resting my camera (Canon R5) in between shooting handheld, tethered. Why isn't my camera on my tripod? That is because my computer is! The velcro straps wrap very securely around the tripod legs, and there is no way they are coming off. great buy.

I wanted one of these after seeing another group use them on their tripods. There are a few features about this one that make it really good.First, it's got a smooth interior which makes it easy to clean. I hike for my landscape photography, and if I find myself using this to hold rocks or other readily available stuff for weight to stabilize my tripod, I know I can clean it easily for when I use it to hold gear.Second, the hook-loop fasteners on it are coarse. This means they're not likely to fuzz up and get clogged, which decreases their ability to grip effectively. The loops are long enough to wrap around a really thick tripod leg. They held well when I secured an eleven-pound weight to the bag (see below).Third, there's a hook on the bottom which is perfect for hanging weight bags. Not only is it wide and flat, meaning you can hang something with a strap from this hook, but it's also METAL and stitched on securely. That means it'll hold weight, even in the cold. I hung at 11-pound production sandbag from it, and I didn't have to worry about whether the hook could handle it. The hook was the perfect size for the 1" wide nylon strap on the bag.I use a photo tripod with a center post sticking down, and I wasn't sure if that would be in the way of this accessory. Thankfully, it's wide enough that it attaches far down the tripod legs, out of the way of that center post. Even so, I could just raise post a bit if it had been an issue...but it's not.This accessory is in my tripod bag now, and it's going wherever my sticks go.
