Works good as it should, haven’t had any problems yet, it does get hot so make sure it is somewhere that can dissipate heat, been years since I bought it and no problems!

I am happy with the controller. It does step down 48v to 24v nicely. My only complain is that 24v is "battery low" category, so your controller will behave as if you are running out of juice. I really wish it had a way to adjust for a slightly higher value like 25.5.

Found this unit with the exact output to charge from large battery bank at 500 watts DC to DC directly into to solar power input jack of my solar “generator.” It takes 50v max and 500w input. I went from the 48 volt source to 24v at right about 10 amps . No problem discovered during initial testing. I hope the converter will last through many recharging sessions.
