I followed the size chart exactly, even ordering a size larger than Amazon’s “recommended size” for me, but this absolutely did not fit. It was way too small. Too bad, because it was super cute. The colors are a nice muted pink, maybe a mauve shade, instead of the standard baby pink. It matched the wrap skirt I bought to go with it and would have been very nice for my adult ballet class. But it is going back. I am a ladies size 8, so it should not be this hard to find leotards that fit, but this is the second online leotard purchase that did not match its size chart and had to go back.

Love this leotard! I got the X-Large and it fits me great. I got multiple compliments on it at ballet as well :)

I ordered a size up already to be safe and there is no way that this would have fit. I would say the L is the equivalent of a Small.
