Purchased this chain for our very large akita. It is very difficult to find collars that will fit him so I was very happy to find this. Chain was good quality and was the exact length they stated. Very happy owner of a happy dog.

/Anyone know how to stop dog chain from rusting? I bought in June 2018. Have black/white border lab with white chest. This collar turns his white chest rusty color. It's the O ring that does not have his dog tags on & nothing is rubbing against the collar. Bathe dog every couple weeks & this collar discolors his white chest. Otherwise would like a replacement from Amazon.com. Not very old collar. 08/2019 UPDATE: In market for yet another collar - dog does not wear daily - o rings & links are rusted & turing white chest on dog orange/brown - hence 1 star.

Good, sturdy chain. Not too thin like a lot of them out there. Amused/annoyed at the price cycle the seller puts these through. I had this sitting in my "saved for later" box for a couple months, where I watched the price fluctuate between $8-$12. Lame.

We have a mastiff with a huge head, so I was a little skeptical about the fit of this collar. We've had poor luck at pet stores and could never find one that would slip past his cheeks, and we almost gave up hope, until I found this collar. Slips on easily, holds up great to tugs and pulls and it doesn't fit too tightly either. It feels a little light and doesn't seem as heavy duty as some other collars I've seen, but the dog hasn't broken it yet and its still going strong.
