I love this shirt, other than having to intitially iron out the packing wrinkles this is a pretty easy shirt to throw in the washer, dry, and pack! I love both the greenish and grayish colors. I sized down from a XL to a L. I like my shirts to not be oversized. This can be dressed up for casual work days, or dressed down for the outdoors and lazy Saturdays. It's a 4 season shirt that can be layered in many ways - tank/mock turtleneck underneath, denim jacket or windbreaker on top. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make more colors. I love darker colors like dark olive, brown, black, and a deep turquoise blue. And keep the sizing the same. Notify me if you come out w/these colors and I will buy them all! (NOTE - the vent in the back is okay, but doesn't really help or hurt the shirt, I'd prefer a closed back.) Thank you!

I ordered the large, green/grey shirt. At first I thought it was a bit rough, but one wash softens it right up. It is really lightweight, it washes nicely, dries quickly and it looks great right out of the dryer. I ordered this shirt to wear over a tank top or t-shirt when I wanted a little bit extra coverage in the sun. It fits great - the sleeves seem to be a little long, but rolled up well and I was able to hook the button with the little strap. I don't care for my sleeves rolled up quite that high so I probably won't use the strip of fabric that buttons the sleeve up. I think it is a great multi-purpose summer shirt.

I ordered the size L since my chest/bust measurement is 40.5" with cloths on. However, I can barely button this shirt. There is an option to roll up the sleeves (with the button/fabric strip on the sleeve) however, I needed to roll the cuff of the sleeve SIX times in order for the fabric button hole to match up with the button. This made the cuff very thick and difficult to bend my elbow. I'll be wearing it with as a jacket with long sleeves rather than the button down shirt. You can see from the last photo that the sleeves are extra long. Since the cuff has two buttons on it, leaving the top one buttoned and rolling the cuff up two times, it stays put just at the writs. It's well made, lightweight fabric and love the green color - the size chart just didn't match up.

We live near some wonderful trails but my wife is very fair skin and wanted a light weight, breathable shirt when we go for light hikes to protect from the sun. She really liked this shirt for how light it was but not see through. She also liked that the material could repel a bit of water as we found out when we had two close calls where it started to rain while we were still 10 minutes out from the car. The length of the arms was perfect and stitching was all really well done. The material of the shirt is not soft but is designed for hiking and was comfortable for her to wear all day.

Not thrilled. Most vents in these types of shirts have mesh netting. This shirt has no mesh...just a big open area that leaves your skin open to the elements. I'm referring to the vented back. Absolutely no mesh...just a flap that keeps the shirt semi closed and, if unbuttoned, open to the bright sun, especially if you're kayaking or something leaning forward. Not recommended.I know this is a women's shirt, but I ordered it thinking my husband might use it. He's an xl in men's. This fit him okay, but he doesn't like the big open back with no mesh.It is large on me but I probably will try it out next time we're kayaking or hiking. I may actually add a mesh panel. I wear a L usually. It's not super big on me, though it's not fitted. I would say this shirt runs a size smaller than expected.
