There are several holes and slots in this ball that a dwarf hamster’s feet would easily fit through. FYI that’s how they can break their legs. I did not even let my hamsters try it out! Not good.

We bought the "big hamster ball" and like the overburdened mom that I am, I didn't bother to read the specifications because how can you go wrong when you have the option to choose between "big" and "small"? Well, go wrong we did. This "big" ball is SO SMALL. The poor hamster will be cramped in there like a kids sandwhich in a ziploc bag. Returning this tiny thing, we aren't trying to suffocate this poor hamster.

Super fast shipping, came in a plain box and it took me a minute to even remember what I ordered. Easy to put together and seemed like it would work well.I am new to the world of hamsters but my son wanted one for his birthday. This was way to small for the hamster he has and there was no way he was fitting in it. After going back I did see it said for "small" hamsters but honestly, aren't all hamsters small? They are basically like mice. Either way, it was not right for the hamster my son had.

My daughter own a little dwarf hamster. It's cute as heck, and a sweet little creature, and has all of the physical dimensions of you standard house mouse. I spoil both of them. Being that her hamster is so small the normal size hamster balls just don't work for her, unless the goal is just to give her a tiny, stationary cage. When I saw this I had to try it.The ball arrived separated into pieces and in a plain box. Setup is easy, just put the two halves of the ball together, screw them together using the included screws and screwdriver, then twist the end caps on.This ball is TINY. It's just the right size for a house mouse-sized creature to be able to run it around. The ball halves are clear and easy to see through, and the ends caps are snug and I'm not expecting them to fall out.Overall this is a great little exercise ball for tiny/dwarf hamster. I recommend!
