Producción de espagmoss
En lo profundo de la costa oeste de la isla sur de Nueva Zelanda, el agua fluye desde los Alpes del Sur alimentando el hábitat natural del musgo Sphagnum. Desde este entorno prístino cosechamos Sphagnum cristatum y Sphagnum subnitens para producir espagmoso.
El proceso intensivo de mano de obra comienza cuando el musgo se recoge a mano de los pantanos que se dedican a la agricultura del musgo Sphagnum. Después de ser extraído del pantano en helicóptero, se transporta a Coastpak donde comienza la segunda fase del procesamiento

Yes, the package, itself is small, but once you rehydrate it, there is a LOT of lovely moss. There isn't even a hint of unpleasant smell. There is very little extraneous material in it. I am going to try to get some of it growing, again. I will update, in a few months. Very happy with it, as it is, but being able to revive it, would be icing on the cake.

I've been using these for about 3 months now. I love the pattern, so cute and very soft. The material is nice and stretchy making it very easy to swaddle even the squirmiest of babies! They have stayed true to size and haven't rolled up on the sides too bad like alot of muslin blankets tend to do. Very functional and affordable!

Bought these as a gift and they were perfect ! They fit their theme and the color was very vibrant and they are super soft . It was a great value for the product because these kind of blankets can run on the higher side and these are the exact same as the higher quality ones. Very good for the summer because they are very breathable .

It's very high quality sphagnum moss.. Not alot of debris or hard bits in it and mostly long strands. I can't believe how much it expands when put into water! Highly suggest this brand! It's extremely easy to use and one of the less messy brands as theirs not a ton of tiny pieces falling everywhere! I Havnt noticed a difference in less or more moisture retention but I figure they're all the same !

I was shocked at the wallet size package, but I know it expands pretty well. This is the high end moss meant for dart frogs and such. If you're making moss poles, get the other spagnum moss..it's cheaper and goes a long way.

I never leave reviews, but there's some confusion on just how much moss you get in a package so I wanted to clear that up with pictures. I can't figure out how to upload pics tho. So I'll be descriptive instead.This is for the 100 gram package. I'll also say up front: This is my first sphagnum moss and I haven't planted anything yet, but the quality seems incredible. The strands are long and strong and resilient, the color is nice, and I expected there to be lots of dust and broken bits in the water after expansion. But there weren't really.So the amounts. When I opened the envelope I didn't expect it to be my moss... so tiny! Like a small paperback. Think Great Gatsby? The thinness seemed like a scam.Then I dipped it in water and was amazed how much bigger it got. Started feeling pretty good about the deal. And also it made an entertaining shape, but that's not interesting without a picture.By then my bowl of water had been almost completely absorbed, so I filled it back up and left the moss the soak for 10 minutes. When I came back, holy moly. It was huge. And instead of a tightly woven brick, it was a nice pliable mass that held itself together, but you could work a chunk out without tearing a ton of strands as well.In the end, this moss just about fills a gallon ziplock when it's good and hydrated. Not like stuffed to the brim - it fit well but the bag looks full. So that's how much moss you get in the 100g package. Almost a gallon.Enjoy!
