My son, who refuses to carry an actual lunch his, can easily add this to his backpack without taking up too much space. I can fit a small ice pack, sandwich, chips and a couple small snacks.

I got this as an insulator for my freeze-dried camp meals, it does a great job. There is a bit of heat loss at the sides of the closure but it's so big I was able to kinda roll it down and clip it to overcome that. I used 2 larger binder clips for that. If you're like me and measurements are tough to grasp, this is big enough for the largest camp meal packet on the market if you tuck the packet sides in a bit. Smaller packs/ziplocs may need a bit of stabilizing help or require you to hold on to it but works wonderful, possibly better on small packets. This was a good alternative to expensive bags made for this specific task, and a lot less work than making my own.

I’m a field biologist so I got this little lunch sack to put in my field bag. Easily fits a sandwich and a small ice pack. Yes, it isn’t water tight if it gets tipped on its side but that’s to be expected honestly. No complaints here

I’ve been using this for over a year now for my kid’s daily snack for school. It has held up great. No tears, wear or damage. It keeps fruits and veggies cool for a few hours. Nice to be able to send fresh food for a snack rather than dry and usually less healthy snacks. I keep it in the freezer overnight and use it every morning. Good capacity.
