This stainless steel container is a good size for lunch. It can hold a full sandwich made on multigrain bread (the kind that is rectangular and larger than regular sandwich bread), with room leftover. Or it makes for a nice portion of pasta or salad. (800 ml is over 3 cups)The container is lightweight but sturdy. The 2 side latches are strong. Actually, my young child had trouble removing the latches, just to show how strong they are.There is a heavy gasket on the inside of the lid. It is removeable for cleaning. And yes, it is leakproof. Works well for school or work, as it's lightweight and can be tossed in a backpack without worries.I hand washed the gasket, but ran the container and lid through the dishwasher without any issues.
