PROS: they fit well and the fabric cuff is ideal to keep the snow out of kids' sleeves and gloves. For being outside, OUT of the snow, they are probably fine.CONS: they are not waterproof so if they get soaked, which gloves tend to do in the snow, their hands are freezing. My kids were out for a couple of hours. It was about 45 degrees out. They came in with soaked, red, hurting hands. I'm going to try the ski shop next time to buy their gloves. These were NOT worth the price.

These gloves did a good job keeping my son’s hands dry and warm. (Medium for a 10 year old with small hands BTW.) But, I’m giving them 2 stars because the cloth elastic band under the cuff gets really wet, really quickly and is so short it doesn’t fit under or over a jacket.

Two hours of sledding in powdery snow (not the wet stuff) and these gloves were soaked inside and out and my son's hands were freezing. They don't seem to live up to the claims of warm and water resistant..

We bought these gloves for my 4 year old as a spare and ended up using them as his main gloves for the winter. Very warm. Great for the price.
