This is a solid TV stand with a thick, sturdy wooden base that looks great in all black. The steel frame column feels more than strong enough to support the listed range of TV sizes and weights without issue. The swivel mounting system functions smoothly and has a decent range of angle adjustment. The component shelf also has the same attractive wood pattern as the base and provides enough space and stability to hold various components weighing up to 11 lbs. I was able to assemble the stand in just 20 minutes by myself, plus maybe another 10 minutes to attach the VESA mount to the TV.I have multiple TV stands in my home, and this one is by far the tallest. When everything is set to its max height, it measures around 62.5" from the highest point of the VESA mounting frame. There is both a pro and a con to this tall height. On the obvious plus side, it’s the tallest stand I’ve ever owned. The drawback here is that even at its lowest setting, the stand remains quite tall at around 52.5" which is more than 5" higher than the lowest setting on most of my other TV stands. 47" happens to be exactly where I would want the height to be. This issue could have been easily avoided only if they had drilled several more holes in the steel frame column for more height adjustments. This is exactly what I'll have to do to bring the height lower to my preference. Fortunately, this would take me no more than 2 minutes to measure the holes and drill them in.The only other thing I should point out is the plastic placeholder at the connection point between the metal frame column and the wooden base. This probably will be sufficient to support the listed range of weight as the plastic placeholder only serves as a buffer between the metal frame column and the wooden base. But I still would have preferred a metal piece here for more durability.None of the issues brought up so far changes the fact that this is a solid TV stand with a strong wooden base. I also appreciate the built-in power strip located in the backside, which helps keep all the cables neatly hidden from view. I just wish they had added a few more holes for lower height adjustment and used metal instead of plastic at what might be its weakest point for such a tall stand. With just these small improvements which wouldn't take much, this stand would be absolutely perfect.

It's Solid, well balanced , i have a 55 in samsung hung at its highted height.Not sure way others were having issues or Dropped their TV ? I mean , om 5"4 150 lbs, put together on my own . You lay everything on floor and make your connections. Test your connection prior to fully liftingLove the built in power stripTHANK YOU, no cords showing !! And Super long cord. Nicely doneThat being said the vertical prong rails are not a great design. There sufficient, but the small brackets letter F that per directions go at the bottom of TV and rails is a Big NOIMMEDIATE FailureGlad I Lay everything on floor Prior to Full weight .I put those at the Top , still don't like that cheep design. But a bit of Red= Lock Tight around them and those screws and I could breath. It's stable. Holding fine.Due to that one piece when my son stopped i had him an I hold the TV an Shake the 💩 out of it to see if there was a potential CollapseIt's been 19 hrs and 1 min ago. Alls well.I'll be stopping at Hone Depot with pics of that piece and locating a sturdier replacement .

My wife's parents are staying with us and they like watching TV in their room. This is a great TV stand that is easy to set up, sturdy, has a built in shelf, and built in power plugs.Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for a floor TV stand!
