The adapter itself fits the batteries securely, and locks into the lock mechanism on the battery.The light is ok, not a bright flashlight, but enough for a small work light.USB-A worked as expected, and my phone went into normal charging mode.USB-C charged my phone in rapid charge mode, BUT..... when connected to a charger I use for 1S drone batteries I expected 20v, as that's what I get from my USB-C PD supply. Maybe this is because this is 18w, vs 65w on my other supply. I'm not sure, but this may matter to you.So far, this 12v on USB-C is my only complaint, but not a deal breaker.

You get one USB-A 2.1A output,cone USB-C 3A output, one 12V DC 2Amini plug output (polarity of center conductor is sadly not specified) and an LED lamp with e brightness settings. Both USB-A and C can charge simultaneously. Build quality is very good; the plastic housing is substantial and the connectors are mounted firmly with xpzero wiggling. Everything fits. Light has a dedicated power switch (outlets just work automatically once you plug them in) and has good brightness at highest level, useful at the other two levels. Mechanical fit into OEM 5Ah XR battery is quite snug. product picks up the locking tab of the battery for positive retention. I believe with repetitive use the snugness will become just right. Really useful accessory to throw into your toolbag with your DeWalt kit, gives you means to charge mobile devices and see in darkness. Solid recommendation.

This USB Battery Charger Adapter for DeWalt batteries is really easy to use, and it works great! It's compact, and portable/travel-friendly too. It makes charging my batteries way easier when I'm on-the-go, or on a job site. I really like the addition of the small flashlight on it as well. Overall, I think it's well made, well designed, and high quality - absolutely worth the price. Light works great but seems to charge pretty slowly. Also the plastic seems like the cheap fragile kind rather than the more sturdy kind used by real DW tools
