I read the specs on this battery and it stated it would fit my laptop but unfortunately it didnt. One positive thing I can say is that it came with the proper screwdrivers to get into the laptop.

I ordered this for my XPS 15 9560 which was doing some strange things and it was all battery related - not powering on all the time, not holding any charge - just hopeless.Changing the battery was one of the easiest things I've ever done and this had both screwdrivers that were needed.For my 9560 you just remove the screws on the back panel(remembering the two under the flap) and then unscrew the battery where the giant arrows point and then, I used my fingernails, pry off the connector and do the reverse to install.As soon as I connected power it sprang into life in a totally predictable, non-weird way, and that was a good start.I invoked a hardware check from the bios which reported no problems and it has been plain sailing ever since.A great battery that is physically identical to the original and has brought a decent laptop back from the dead!

Fit perfectly, runs as long as the OEM battery did when new. Came with all the tools that were needed but the directions were basically nonexistent.It wasn't hard to do, but someone who isn't technically inclined might be intimidated by the process.Steps:Remove the hex screws around the bottom of the case and the two that are under the product info flap the case pops off easily.Unplug the existing battery.Remove the screws that hold the battery in and it comes right out.Reverse the process and you are all done.Should take less than 10 min

This battery comes with the bits you need to change it and the process is pretty straight forward. If it’s your first time changing a laptop battery then know it’s an easier one and there are lots of videos online to help change it. I’d watch those over using written instructions.The battery itself seems decent quality and once installed it works exactly the same. The power on time is about the same as when it was new. You can tell the cycle count of a new battery but even cheaper batteries should last quite a while and this one at least appears to be well made.Overall it’s a good choice as it is the complete kit and works well. There is no price currently so I can’t say if I’d recommend it based on cost but I can based on its performance.
