I love tessa (fabric) electrical tape for automotive applications. Looks far nicer than your old shiny plastic tape and bonus is it rips and tears far easier instead of stretched ends. I have used this on a few small electrical repairs and overall super pleased with it

This 5PK Wire Harness Heat Resistant Tape is a very thin adhesive fabric measuring 3/4" x 50" for each roll. The temperature rating is -40 F to 250 F which is better than regular electrical tape that's rated 0 F to 221 F. The ability to tightly wrap this tape is superior to regular electrical tape as there are no gaps when wrapping wires creating an extremely tight wrap. The adhesive backing is excellent, as well.Unfortunately, the 5 pk of tapes arrived a bit crushed on two sides so packaging definitely needs to be improved. I would've given 5 stars if they arrived in excellent condition.
