Update. The folded edges are better than when I first folded the brochures. I believe humidity was a factor. They are not as smooth as I would like, but the average person would not notice. Again, you can’t beat the price! Because of that I’m willing to accept the minor things I don’t like.I can’t use some of the product due to the ragged edges when you fold the brochure.I’m wondering if the product obtained some moisture during storage before shipping that could cause the problem. I chose not to return the brochures because I was satisfied with the cost and hopefully there will be many more good sheets than bad. I have the box open to dry the paper to see if that helps.

This paper worked great for our tri-fold brochures. The paper is heavier than plan printer paper and gives the brochures a professional feel. Here are a few things to know:1 - The paper is intended to be folded like you would a letter where the outer panels are folded over the middle panel.2 -The pre-scored paper is intended to be folded in a certain direction. The side with the scored "bump" is on the outside of the fold.3 - One of the outer panels is slightly wider than the other 2 panels. This is by design so that once folded, the front of the brochure extends slightly beyond the rest of the brochure making it easier to open.4 -Because of the direction you need to fold the paper (along the scores) and the one wider panel, how to load your paper tray takes some figuring out and maybe some trial and error.

If You're Self-Printing Brochures, These are Perfect! From time to time our marketing department needs to create a quick direct mail campaign. The Tri-Fold brochure paper is perfect to get the job done. We design everything in Adobe InDesign, then export to a PDF and print on both sides. We even meter mail the brochure in-house and drop the brochures off at the local post office. They have the perfect balance between feeling like a professionally printed piece and the personal touch. We even run variable data (names) on our direct mail piece, adding a personal touch to the mailing. The work just fin in our copiers and have never jammed on us.If you're doing small run jobs, whether it's a brochure for your product or service or a direct mail piece, then I recommend stocking up on these brochure papers. I know we do!

This is a high quality product. It is reasonably priced and it fits in my Canon LBP7780cdn very nicely even though the printer specifies 40 LBS as the max paper weight. It took me a while to notice that one pane is longer than the other 2 to accommodate a flat fold-fold. So before you feed this through a printer, take in to account the following;1. make sure your trifold cover is printing on the correct pane.2. creases matter; in order to make the trifold foldable, the paper is creased which causes an embossed effect on one side while indented on the other. You always want the inside art work to be printed on the side that is indented, (not embossed) it will make your folding-life easy.HTH

I purchased this item to print my own brochures on an as needed basis, and because it was a good price. They printed nicely on my inkjet printer and folded easily (although, you do have to fold it in the correct direction for best results). The image quality was great and I had no issues with drying time. They dried quickly. I'd print 20 at a time, flip'em over and print side 2. The thickness is also good. Some have commented about the rough edge on the outside when folded, but it's very minor and does not effect what's on the brochure since the outside is meant to be viewed folded. Unlike the inside, that is more often viewed open. If this is a concern, keep your images on the inside and create three columns for the outside. If, like me, you're looking for a good brochure paper so you can print your own, I'd recommend this product. When I use up what I have, I will likely order more.
