I just got this a few days ago and I wore it around my house for a few hours and in my backyard walking around. It does definitely add a decent amount of weight. I got 6 pounds because I have a bad back and I can’t be lifting or holding a lot of weight, but 6 pounds for me is definitely enough. It definitely gives you good support. I like the idea that it has a holder for your cell phone because I always need my cell phone on me. It does give you a decent amount to sweat as well if you’re walking on a treadmill or if you’re walking around your neighborhood, its definitely a good workout Vest so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to build strength in their shoulders, chest area, and I love the idea that you can either loosen it or pull the Velcro more to make it tighter. Highly recommend.

I was not sure if this weight jacket would be comfortable as I have another weight jacket. My other weight jacket has individual 1lb weights in each pouch (25 pouches). The shoulder straps are uncomfortable and pulls you down.NOW… this jacket (16lbs) jacket is perfectly (weights) distributed. Your body is well balanced and gives you back support. It was so easy to put on and doing my leg exercises (250 lunge’s and 250 squats) felt even better. Truly felt amazing after my workout…Plus running 7 miles with (16lbs) jacket did not feel uncomfortable. The weight jacket gives you a better back support while running or walking. The best investment for my health 💪🏼💪🏼

Vest arrived promptly. A several have said, there is a slight odor, but it seems to have dissipated. It was quite comfortable to wear although my shoulders will need to get used to it. I am 73 years old so I didn’t go 10% of my weight. The 12lb vest is plenty for me right now. I walk every day and today is the first day I was warm from the exercise. I was pleased with that as I can’t run due to breaking my feet several times. It felt good to feel like I had a light workout.

Gran elección de chaleco si quieres iniciar a correr con peso, estéticamente se ve lindo, trae un espacio para el teléfono y en la parte de atrás una “red” para llaves y el relleno del peso es como de “arena” entonces no hace tanto ruido al correr. El único contra es que si corres con una blusa de tela delgada lastima la zona del hombro (por la fricción) pero se soluciona corriendo con sudadera.

My previous weighted vest, which lasted approx 10 years finally had a strap break. I decided to go with this brand, new to me, due to the very compact size. My previous vest was bulky. This one sits well on my chest, shoulders and back (I'm medium build 5.11ft 170Ib). Made of soft material. Feels well made. I bought the 20Ib version which actually weights just under 22Ib. So far I'm loving this new vest. I have done several long jogs and a bunch of calisthenic work outs without issue. Hopefully I get another 10 years.
