I have been wearing Vanity Fair size medium slips for years. After reading the other reviews I decided to order large this time. The slips I received are a much skimpier cut than my old slips. The waist is smaller and the cut is almost straight with vey little flare. The large is fine for me but you might want to consider even two sizes up depending on your figure.

Half slips are hard to come by in stores these days- but some skirts still require one for modesty. This is exactly what I needed- not sheer, comfortable, and doesn't ride up under my skirt. It was just what I needed to be able to wear a favorite pleated skirt without embarrassment :-)

I bought the Vanity Fair 28” half slip, single slit, in black in size L and it is perfect for me and my midi length navy blue cocktail dress. I’m 5’4” and weigh 150 lb. There is plenty of ease in the fit so it doesn’t constrain my legs and the slit gives additional ease for sitting etc. If you’ve bought Vanity Fair in the past, I’m happy to report they haven’t changed! Same great quality. It is definitely anti-static.
