Just received today and always skeptical regarding correct sizing online. I could tell pulling them on it was good. Laced up to walk around rest of the day and more than once had to look down to confirm I had shoes on. Pretty confident they will also be durable.

My husband has been wearing Rockports for over 30 years - never had a problem before. These have been worn only a few months - both have the same problem - soles separating and flapping when he walks. VERY disappointed - what happened to Rockport quality?Could have been a bad batch of glue?I took photos and contacted Rockport directly on their website late in the afternoon (well past 7 pm eastern time) - and received a sympathetic and apologetic response within FIVE minutes! They said they would send me replacement shoes but couldn’t find details of my order (I’d bought in US on Amazon and was contacting Rockport Canada). I sent a copy of my Amazon invoice and explained where I’d bought and thought they’d use that as the reason they couldn’t help - but NO - another response in less than five minutes - they would forward to warranty department and I should hear from them. Which I did - less than an hour later! They didn’t have the same shoe in stock - but a gift card for the purchase price was an option or select a different style - just let them know. I have never received such excellent online customer service. I believe in supporting companies that stand behind their products and provide service - especially prompt and sympathetic service! I have changed my review from 1 star to 5.

Me gustó el modelo, el cuero, no me gustó el juego del pie cuando los probé y me baje las escaleras se me encajo la punta de los dedos de los pies, en la punta interior de los zapatos, luego tantito estaba húmedo el piso, y me quise resbalar, y que con otros zapatos o tenis no me pasa eso, aclaro los zapatos que pedí si eran de mi número, el color tampoco es muy bonito.

My husband has been wearing these shoes for a decade, and while the quality does seem to have declined (his first pair stayed brilliant for over two years), he says they still offer the support he needs for standing on concrete floors ten hours a day—and can tell by his knees and back when he’s ready for a new pair. They are much more lightweight than they once were, and it does take a bit to break them in, but the size and style have stayed consistent through the years. For the price, we still consider them a very good buy.

No me gustó el peso de los zapatos. He comprado otros modelos de Rockport y son muy ligeros y cómodos.éste modelo NO lo volvería a comprar.

Shoes very comfortable but veneer started to crack and peel after a few weeks. This continues to get worse as time goes on. I contacted Rockport but they referred me to Amazon by which time it was too late to return shoes. They are falling apart and a complete dud. Whatever happened to real leather uppers?
